Product Description
QJB-W SUBMERSIBLE SLUDGE RETURN PUMP
High Flow · Low Head · Reliable Sludge Recirculation
The QJB-W Series is specially designed for wastewater-treatment processes that require a large recirculation flow at a relatively low head.
It transports mixed liquor or sludge between treatment stages and helps support stable biological treatment, denitrification and nitrogen removal.
Product Applications
The QJB-W Series is suitable for:
Return activated sludge systems
Mixed-liquor internal recirculation
Denitrification and nitrogen-removal processes
Secondary wastewater treatment plants
Sludge suction and circulation pipelines
Biological treatment tanks
Purified-water transfer
Ground drainage
Agricultural irrigation
Waterway-control systems
Other high-flow, low-head pumping duties
Main Advantages
High-Flow, Low-Head Hydraulic Design
The pump is specially designed for applications requiring a large transfer capacity at a small lifting head, making it suitable for sludge-return and internal-recirculation systems.
Anti-Clogging and Anti-Entanglement
The wide, thin and swept-back three-blade impeller provides an unobstructed flow passage and helps reduce clogging and fiber entanglement.
Self-Cleaning Impeller
The smooth blade surface and swept-back hydraulic profile allow the impeller to clean itself during operation.
Reliable Submersible Motor
The pump uses a 50 Hz, three-phase squirrel-cage submersible asynchronous motor with:
IP68 protection
Class F insulation
Cooling by the surrounding medium
Built-in leakage protection
Motor-overload protection
Durable Sealing System
The static sealing system uses O-rings, while the shaft is protected by a mechanical seal that separates the oil chamber from the surrounding liquid.
The catalog states that the selected sealing materials support more than 10,000 hours of safe continuous operation under suitable conditions.
Long-Life Bearings
Imported bearings are used, with a stated design service life of more than 100,000 hours under suitable operating conditions.
Stainless-Steel Motor Shaft
The motor shaft is made of stainless steel, and the rotor is dynamically balanced to improve operational stability.
Compact Stamped Structure
The main unit adopts a compact stamped construction that provides:
Small overall dimensions
High manufacturing precision
Corrosion resistance
Low operating noise
Convenient installation and maintenance
Working Principle
The submersible motor directly drives the three-blade impeller.
As the impeller rotates, the specially shaped inlet cone guides the incoming medium into an optimized hydraulic flow pattern. The impeller then generates a large-volume axial flow and transfers the mixed liquor or sludge through the outlet connection.
The large flow passage, swept-back blades and smooth impeller surface help maintain continuous operation while reducing clogging and entanglement.
